Medicaid

Medicaid
Medicaid is a program jointly funded by the federal and state governments. The federal part of the program is administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This Web site contains an overview of the Medicaid Program, statistics and data, the State Medicaid Manual, state plans, state waivers, long-term care data and research, a care planner for seniors, caregivers, families, and professionals, and numerous other links. http://www.cms.gov/medicaid/consumer.asp

The State of Maryland maintains a Web site with extensive information on the State’s Medicaid Program. Among the topics are eligibility, benefits, provider information, frequently asked questions, and information on virtually every aspect of the Medicaid Program in Maryland. http://www.dhmh.state.md.us/mma/mmahome
