The TANF Program is administered at the federal level by the Administration on Children (ACF) and Families in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The State of Maryland’s Family Investment Administration maintains a Web site for a number of family assistance programs in the state, including food stamps, cash assistance, burial assistance, and emergency assistance.
