This Web site (State Policy Documentation Project) provides information for every state including entitlement policies, eligibility rules, state-by-state comparison charts, as well as program application forms. http://www.spdp.org/tanf.htm If you wish to go directly to the State of Maryland’s TANF Program, you may go directly to the Maryland link at http://www.spdp.org/compstates/maryland.htm. The TANF Program is administered at the federal level by the Administration on Children (ACF) and Families in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. ACF maintains a Web site with information on the TANF Program nationwide, including TANF regulations, state programs, the TANF Annual Report to Congress, and links to other information about TANF. http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/ofa. The State of Maryland’s Family Investment Administration maintains a Web site for a number of family assistance programs in the state, including food stamps, cash assistance, burial assistance, and emergency assistance.
